I had the budget double room, it was airy and beautifully maintained. The hotel had lovely location not far from the O'Connell Street eateries, restaurants, and the Adelaide zoo. North Adelaide district was worth staying in...

Grand old hotel, 4 stars. Continental breakfast with qluten free toast, good coffee machine, champagne. Incredible and amazing location of the venue, next to great restaurants and cafes, and walk to many attractions. Also, near the bus stop.

The location was excellent. The staff were friendly- sometimes hard to come by in SA. Onsite parking - great. It was perfect & will definitely stay again.

Staff were friendly, rooms were made up each day. No fuss at all. large tall rooms were very comfortable-in fact the whole ambience is relaxed spacious and comfortable.
I will never get used to the perfunctory breakfast served up in Australian hotels/motels. Try almost anywhere in the world, a good breakfast is provided. Not a criticism of this particular hotel-they are only doing what the rest do, but it's pathetic.

The park from across the road
The hosts were a bit impatient and sometimes a lil snobbish. Dust in room Dirty walls, doors.

Fabulous location (20 min walk to Botanic Gardens/CBD) and in quiet, salubrious part of Adelaide. The retro decor was a bit of fun & reminiscent of our childhoods! Staff were helpful and friendly. Incredibly good value, with generous breakfast included.
The budget double had a separate bathroom down the hall (private access only), which was fine but next time, we'll probably pay that bit extra and get room with en suite.

Location in North Adelaide convenient for restaurants.
Building badly needs renovation with frayed carpets and antiquated fittings. Generally didn't feel clean, particularly bathroom and had sticky balustrades on staircase. Breakfast with instant coffee not a hit. Wouldn't stay again!
